What you will learn
This program teaches you how to create not only increased symmetry of control and movement in your core muscles, but also give you the multidirectional skills needed for sitting balance in daily life. Sitting balance is both static and dynamic – meaning that you need to be able to sit still regardless of the load on the arm but also balance yourself while moving in space. Stroke often affects muscles you cannot see, and so this program dives into the deeper issues related to core control which also impact continence, breathing and movement of the arm itself. This program integrates brain and spinal cord circuitry to help unlock underlying muscle control, and may also increase your ability to stand and walk.
The program includes a step-by-step followable workout that is side-specific and can be worked at your own pace as many times as you wish. The program progresses from easy to more difficult techniques and dosages.
